On 31 December 2019, parking near REI will require parking meter fees and may require walking 2 to 5 blocks to get from your car to the start at REI.

To eliminate this problem, we will  be setting up an alternate Start Point from 9:30 am to 11 am only at Good Sam Hospital in the Main Lobby.  You will be able to park for free in the Good Sam Parking garages, come to the hospital lobby and get a route map for the NW loop that will start at the Hospital, and get a free parking validation pass.  You will then walk to the starting point following the route and register at REI.

If you are doing a 5 km walk, you will register and follow the route back to the hospital.  For those walking for awards, you will get your book stamped then walk back to the hospital for your finish.

If you are doing the 10 km, you will follow the route to REI and register.  You will then do the SE loop returning to REI  (for those walking for awards getting your books stamped) then return to finish the NW loop at the hospital and your car.

Remember this is only from 9:30 am to 11 am.  If you arrive after this time, please go directly to REI to register.
